The other area which I had tried to resolve during my visit was my effort to confirm Sanjit ‘Bunker’ Roy, the founder and former CEO of Barefoot College, to speak at my school and to the students here. Unfortunately, Bunker had been busy and unable to travel at the time. Instead, he suggested that his current CEO Meagan Fallone, come and speak at my school.

Below, you will see that we were able to get confirmation from CEO Meagan Fallone to speak at The 2017-18 Joseph T. Cox Servant Leadership Symposium at The Haverford School.

Please see the email chain below!

Hi Meagan,

The 30th of October works for Haverford to have you come and speak. They also requested if you could speak at their sister school, Agnes Irwin, on the same day. I am putting Bill in copy here – he has been our liaison at Haverford.

I also want to thank Yeshwin for all the hard work he has put in to make this event possible.
I let you and Bill communicate from here.

Dear Meagan,

Please let me know the details of your travel plan.  Depending upon your schedule we thought we might invite the girls from our sister school Agnes Irwin over to Haverford and then have breakout discussions following your address.
We could also just have you do the same address at their school.

How would you feel about an evening audience open to parents in the communities?  Either Sunday or Monday evening depending upon your travel plans?  This is not necessary but as I have mentioned your visit it seems many more adults are interested in learning about Barefoot as well.

Please let me know your thoughts and travel plans and I will put together an itinerary.
Also, please let me know how to start the process for the funding that needs to be donated to the Barefoot foundation/college?

Thanks to all for your help in putting together this amazing opportunity for our community.

Sincerely,Bill

All,

I have begun the process for the payment to the foundation.  I am just checking to see if there are any updates to the travel plan for Ms. Fallone?  Once I know the travel schedule it will enable me to formalize the schedule and of course arrange hotel accommodations.  Please inform at your earliest convenience.

Sincerely,Bill
