My next step was to begin to make my peers aware
Before we started to forge the connection between the Night School and my peers, I had to introduce them to the Barefoot College.
I did that by briefly narrating my experience with the Barefoot College and I showed them videos that I took of the Night School. I made sure they began to understand the amount of privilege and urged to appreciate what they had.
The response was very positive and I couldn’t wait to connect them directly with the Night School/Children’s Parliament.
